CTW started as a marine consultancy specializing in marine surveys and ship management in 1979. From this humble beginnings, it was awarded a contract to provide integrated marine services for the operation of tugs and harbor crafts including the provision of pilotage services and all the in water activities, the company has since completed nine major contracts of similar nature valued in excess of US$ 70 million. The group has since invested in related activities, including the operation of ship repair facilities and construction of hovercraft and fast aluminum vessels. On the non-marine portfolio, it also operates resort hotels and is the largest timeshare holiday membership company in the Philippines.
Our vision to continue in the field of marine related services has not changed for the past 20 years. We are dedicated and committed to continue serving the port and marine industry in years to come. Our hospitality division shall similarly seek opportunities to expand in vacation properties to own and manage and market timeshare holidays in the Asian-Pacific region.
CTW is poised to become a lead player in the activities that it has expertise and management skills and its policy is not to divert into non-core activities that the group has no tangible advantage. Our acquisition of a renowned hovercraft company in the USA commits us to break ground in the high technology field of boat design and construction using latest technology and material.
